no one knows what it's gonna take to get their hands on the phones yet not to mention unlock and jailbreak

only steve jobs knows what bootloader or firmware that its coming in, probably dev team gotta start from scratch again and it might even take a few months for that

lets hope its the current bootloader and we all will be happy, not only malaysians but the world

i agree with u Hanx...but i m sure it won't be long before iLiberty(2) or zIphone(2) will be out to "attack" the iPhone(2/ 3G)

Bad news guys: Customers who purchase the iPhone 3G will have to activate it in Apple Stores or 30 days (penalties will be charged by AT&T). So you can't bring home a sealed unit, get me?

I do not know what new policy in regarding purchasing iPhone 3G. Unlocking, sure it will hapen.

A few months ago, when I was in the USA, I bought iphone (8GB) from Apple Store. No questions ask, no need to fill in forms. Just credit card, sorry they don't take cash !!! I think the trick is to buy it from Apple Store.

Come on.the new term is you have to sign a contract when you buy the new iphone 3G on the spot.

Mean if you dont have sevice,you cant buy the phone.

that was few months ago (like you said). Now is now.

Too bad Malaysia doesn't get to launch iphone yet...
