What was your rate before this? and also how long have u been with them?

Have you contacted them on the repayment option? I just received the sms to pay starting next month but I have not contacted them yet. This is the terms that i found on their faq from their website.

I was told that Maybank was given a quota of RM150 million for asb2 loan. Maybank is offering 3.4% with takaful, ambank i think is the lowest with 3.3%?

Ya, but I'm in my 30's so won't make much of a difference to me haha. Plus AmBank as others mention is already full.

I've contacted an officer in Maybank on the asb2 loan on wednesday morning, gave my IC and payslip and received the approval sms in the afternoon. Then on Thursday, I was asked to withdraw the balance in my asb2 and signed the documents at the branch. On Friday, I've checked my maybank account which I've registered for the standing instruction for the repayment, they have deducted the RM10 for the stamping. As of today, the fund have not been disbursed and I have not received the second sms like you mentioned. No mention from my officer on the allocation is still not yet secure till I receive the second sms. I assume since they deduct the RM10 from my account for the stamping, the fund is already allocated to me.

Update: After checking with my officer again, it is true it is not confirm till you get the disbursement sms. They will reimburse me back the RM10 for stamping if there is no fund available. So have to just wait now. When did you apply btw?

Yeah i had to go the branch anyway as i have balance that i need to withdraw from my asb 2 account. U applied straight away after they announce it is available? I guess now it is a bit slower to disburse as the fund allocation available for every bank is running out.

Ya, just got the loan disbursed sms today.

Applied and got the approval sms last week Wednesday, 13/10. Did the withdrawal from my asb2 account on Thursday 14/10. Loan is disbursed today.
