very interesting debate we got here, but lets maintain it in healthy condition, shall we. i interested with someone's post earlier (too lazy to search back for quoting), regarding maybank officer recommend him to increase loan value, but then just kept silent after talk about inflation. i guess maybe we can share, if there are our own friends from banking field, whether they take or not this asb loan too.. that would be a good reason/example to us, for taking (or not taking) this ASB loan..

QUOTE(clearcase @ Nov 15 2011, 06:26 PM) good fight! this is easy, let's say u afford to save rm1000/month. u can save rm500 directly in ASB & spent another rm500 to service the loan. This will help u to manage the 'risk' and at the same time enjoying the leverage. btw, my ASB loan repayment is fixed throughout the tenure. not sure about others. no worries about BLR for me so, there is fixed monthly installment and varied annualy, depend on BLR eh? is it depend on bank.. Guys... Somehow i still quite doubt with asb loan.. although roughly calculate will still get around 2% profit (dividen 7%++ minus ~5% bank interest), but after deducting zakat 2.5%, shouldn't it be negative then..

QUOTE(haziqnet @ Oct 25 2016, 09:55 PM) no problem bro...or if u want to make for a long term of investment, Private Retirement Scheme are suit with you... minimum only RM100/month...u only can get the money at 55 years old...same like KWSP...but with more return 8-10%... if your age below 30 years old u can get incentive RM500 from the government if u start invest min 1000...after that u can proceed as low as 100/month... Care to explain more about this PRS? Is is compulsory to put min rm100 EVERY MONTH? I thought its opt to use when and how much to put. And for that gov incentive, this recent budget 2017 has revised to rm1000 right? And its for below 31 iianm. Thanks.
