hi guys need some advise here,

should i take a asb loan??

-at the moment im saving around 1k every month in my asb acc. Im 24yo and have no commitment 'at the moment' but planing to buy a car next year and mayb in 2 years time a house. So should i take the asb loan or i should just continue saving without taking the loan .
.
thanks

asb loan will affect your credit rating in future esp when applying housing loan. In my opinion, you should continue the savings.

final decision is yours smile.gif

hai there, anybody know why majlis fatwa malaysia declare HARUS invest in ASB. WHY not halal, when i ask imam at my surau he tell me ASB dividen is SUBHAH(that mean its mix with haram) now i'm in dilema to do asb loan. im scare what answer to give if allah ask me.

if u feel uncomfortable, then there's other shariah compliant scheme available like AHB or even TH (it's not investment, but dividend paid already deduct zakat unlike ASB) icon_rolleyes.gif

i got ASB loan as well as the book. loan is 60k and for the book i will deposit 500/mth. i remembered the maybank guy said the dividend will be total of both.

so do i get 2 separate dividend or only 1? i am thinking:
1) asb book (dividend based on total of the book)
2) asb loan (dividend based on loan + total book)

kindly advise if this is not the case

60k would be on certificate & Maybank hold it. u cannot withdraw tat.

ASB dividend only 1 (based on 60k & on your balance in passbook). total would be credited into your ASB passbook.
