Guys,
How long does it normally take for the bank to send the termination letter?
It has been a month++ , my ccris has already registered that there is no more outstanding from the terminated certs. But I've yet to receive the termination letter.

Re-applying and the other bank wants the termination letter. geez...

It takes 1-2 months

may i know the 10,000 units 1 sen bonus is RM100 or RM10? because bonus is calculated based on 120 months (10 years) basis. Only dividend is calculated on 12 months (yearly) basis. Therefore, the higher dividend we get the more $$ we earn but bonus have to look for long term, at least for 10 years later only can gain high bonus because it is based on cumulative.
*
10k units equivalent to rm100. For 40years pnb anniversary.
Asnb just announced 0.25% calculated for 12months. Not like before for 120months.

Just take 7.25% for calculating your yearly dividend.

If u take loans, u can use pro rate

actually, how does bank calculate the income from dividend? the bank will want to know the real dividend we get or they just calculated it roughly?
*
Bank calculate 85% from asb statement. And divided into 12 months.

Examples:

Dividend 8000, bonus 200
Total 8200 x 85% / 12 months = y

"y is the income from your ASB"

ok, thanks... I've asked several bankers from same bank, different branch and from different bank... one person told me that the calculation just like the above, but the bank only calculate 80% from dividend.. another person from same bank but different branch that they calculate 100% divide by 12... another bank only calculate 70% from the average of last 3 years for asb dividend percentage ...

so the calculations is not standardized and depends on banks. actually it's better to ask the banker directly. at least we can use the calculation above as a rough guidelines..
*
Yes. You're good. Different bank different calculations. Because of the risk department applied

I'm not talking about ASB2 financing. I'm talking about whether to put cash in ASB1 (reduce loan), or to put in ASB2.
*
Dont reduce the loan. Better to put in ASB2. Because you'll earns both dividend
