Hey guys, does anyone ever make a water rocket? Well, recently my teacher gave us a school project work
which is making a water rocket. But my frens and I all have no experience in making one. I know i can always
google search for the tutorial of making it. But that can't be compared to someone who has real experience to
share some tips. Eg: building of body, launcer, and etc

At the same time, we can also discuss further about this activity as a special hobby. As we can always do this
with friends and family. Cheers!

well you can search for the mythbusters episode where they did one on the bottle rocket ...

This is so EASY

Things you need:
1.5L water bottle(coke,pepsi, F&N) with standard head size.
Wine cork or normal cork that fits into the 1.5L bottle's head
Bicycle Pump
Ball pump needle(the needle that u use to inflate a ball)

Steps:
1.Poke the pump needle through the cork. You might have to cut the cork into half.
2. Fill 1/2 of the bottle with water
3. Plug the cork with the needle onto the bottle's head.
4. Attach bicycle pump to the cork with the needle
5. Aim the back away from yourself and anything else
6. Stand away from the bottle's head to keep yourself dry
7. Pump away until the pressure is too much and the cork will fly out and the bottle rockets away.

*experiment with different water levels
*you might want to add wings etc etc...
*cork can be reused many times
*collect corks from weddings or parties =D

I've played this when i was in form 1. Do not aim at glass or pots or cars. The bottle flies off at very high velocity. Play at a field with nobody around and please do not litter after playing.
You also can launch 4 storeys high or more with a standard bottle with no modifications
