i download a part of the file zipped with RAR

it is a video , total of 700mb , divided into 8 part ..

but i only download part 1 ,it 95mb...

and i could not extract it by using 7zip , hence cannot play the video ..

to play the video, do i need to download all parts?

and when i extra it ...it seemed 700mb file(i'm not sure pun) instead of a 95mb file ..

Play with RAR player.You also can extract the 1st part by using Winrar.Makesure to tick the keep broken files then play with GOM or VLC player.

of course you have to download all the 8 part then only can watch the video

you can also watch it when it is incomplete, but the video will have big problem...

the word "extra" seen to be "extract"... and you post in wrong place

even i tricked , Winrar still request the 2nd part of the video ..then i click 'cancel' then the operation break..

so i need to download all parts?

you need to download all the 8 part

You need 2 download all 8 part so that it will become a 700mb movie. Without 1 part it wont work. And btw rapidshare limit 1 file 100mb so that y it got 8 part

if the movie file is AVI type, you must have a complete downloaded file in order to play the movie. AVI has header and footer checking before can be played.

Break it, but you cannot fast foward etc... Just let it play. Ofcoz it will not play whole movie though, you need to download all part.

the file/data is split into 8 parts, not the movie split into 8 part. it's not like.. movie part1, movie part 2.. part 5,6,7,8.

download remainging parts.. so the data are complete.

but you can still play using RAR Movie Player (or so its name)...
