today i forgot to turn off my lamp for 5 hours

any side effect to my car batery????

How can u forget in the first place? Almost all cars will activate a buzzer if the light is still on after u take out the ignition key.

just happened to me last week...at about 8am lights are on, 2.15pm want to use my car to go to exam, cannot start, no more battery!

some people don't even realise they never switch on their car lamp at night!
you just imagine that

older version of cars dun have. for example, the saga LMST dun have buzzer to remind drivers to turn off their lights. this is actually a common problem. just learn from ur mistake and remember to turn off ur lights next time when u leave ur car. make it a habit to turn it off when ever u turn off ur car engine..

LOL yeah.
But that is because the light at the street is sufficient that's why sometimes they just forgot bout it..
My mom is one of them lol.
For me..Nah..As soon as I hop into my car at night, the 2nd thing I will do is switching on the light.
It's already a habit..Just like fastening the safety belt..I can't step on the gas paddle before i fastened up the belt.

Not all car have that.........

new cars like myvi, new civic, etc... i can understand that they don't turn on headlamp because of their brightlighted dashboard
but old cars... won't they feel that very dark inside?

i tried one with mazda 323 ... that day raining so switdn one the light , for forgotten to switch off , 7 am on , 8 pm when off from work go car park only saw it .. 11 hours , luckly still can start , but after two weeks , battery KONG

N60 battery should be able to last around 5-6hours

at night didn't on light wont the dashboard meter become pitch dark? how come ppl can forget nia

forgot close is okay la,but forgot on how they see their speedometer?

probably their eye have night vision , can see in dark

U should feel lucky if u still can start ur car.

yep... depending on the condition of the battery, u would not have been able to start the car... and even though u can start the car, the battery would end up being dead in a short time.. so best to always switch it off as it drains the battery

why dont they make the car automaticaly turn the lights off when u take ur keys out ?

if battery strong, no problem. if battery weak, start engine susah

i think certain expensive modern cars have such features oledi... but no applied on normal car due to costing...
but lucky myvi have such fancy feature, it will remind (beep sound) driver if forgot to off it after removed car key...

maybe in the next 10 years, all the new cars will applied with this features...

happen to me once, didnt turn it off at night, the next day can't start engine at all.

I was kena once in my old car..and have to ask ppl to push my car so that could jump start it ..rofl..now my car got the beep sounds to remind me..

this is wat i worry for
i worry my battery will gone in tmr or in a week

hey, viva got any alert/buzzer at the dashboard for not turning off fog light??

lucky battery not weak..if not need to sent to proton edar to do computer setting which is cost about rm70.00.

viva should have this features same as myvi if forgot to turn off head lamp and "small" lamp (with fog lamp)...
but cant confirm that it applied on 850 and 660 or not...

Last time I turn on the hazard lights for 4 hours+, car cannot start. Have to ask a skinny and the smallest size friend to sit in the car and we all push.

i just bought a viva 1.0 manual standard , so i can tell i has the alert , for 860 iam not sure . ..

i taught dident turned on especialy the HID how ah ??? IMAGINE !! MELTS UR HEADLAMP!
