 What-if.. i didnt switch off the car front lamp, for 5 hours!!! any side effect???

today i forgot to turn off my lamp for 5 hours


zzzzzzzz

but i still manage to start my engine after 5 hours biggrin.gif
any side effect to my car batery????

How can u forget in the first place? Almost all cars will activate a buzzer if the light is still on after u take out the ignition key.

just happened to me last week...at about 8am lights are on, 2.15pm want to use my car to go to exam, cannot start, no more battery!

some people don't even realise they never switch on their car lamp at night!

older version of cars dun have. for example, the saga LMST dun have buzzer to remind drivers to turn off their lights. this is actually a common problem. just learn from ur mistake and remember to turn off ur lights next time when u leave ur car. make it a habit to turn it off when ever u turn off ur car engine..

LOL yeah.
But that is because the light at the street is sufficient that's why sometimes they just forgot bout it..
My mom is one of them lol.
For me..Nah..As soon as I hop into my car at night, the 2nd thing I will do is switching on the light.
It's already a habit..Just like fastening the safety belt..I can't step on the gas paddle before i fastened up the belt.

new cars like myvi, new civic, etc... i can understand that they don't turn on headlamp because of their brightlighted dashboard
but old cars... won't they feel that very dark inside?

i tried one with mazda 323 ... that day raining so switdn one the light , for forgotten to switch off , 7 am on , 8 pm when off from work go car park only saw it .. 11 hours , luckly still can start , but after two weeks , battery KONG
