1) install SMSD version 0.2.1 through the Installer repository of STE Packaging;
2) download SMSD version 0.2.3beta1 from http://amrut.joshi.googlepages.com/
3) establish an SSH connection with your iPhone;
3) overwrite the installed SMSD.app with the SMSD. app from the folder you downloaded; and
4) restart your iPhone.

That's what I did on my 1.1.4 iPhone, and it worked for me. :-)

I saw you post this on another thread and even post a question for you cos i didn't understand what you meant by establish an SHH connection.

Nice bro, you guys are the coolest.

I sent my iphone into an endless reboot loop trying to figure this out. LOL

I still thing there's lots of room for improvement on ISMS.

What's your wishlist features in iSMS?

Mine would be,

1) to add a 'reply' option.
2) the 'send' button could be a little prominent too.
3) group/catergorized callers
4) a quicker way to add contacts by pushing the first letter in their names to minimized the list instead of strolling which looks nice but a little time consuming.
5) still thinking. smile.gif
