QUOTE(kokyun @ Apr 4 2008, 11:41 PM) 1) install SMSD version 0.2.1 through the Installer repository of STE Packaging; I saw you post this on another thread and even post a question for you cos i didn't understand what you meant by establish an SHH connection.2) download SMSD version 0.2.3beta1 from http://amrut.joshi.googlepages.com/ 3) establish an SSH connection with your iPhone; 3) overwrite the installed SMSD.app with the SMSD. app from the folder you downloaded; and 4) restart your iPhone. That's what I did on my 1.1.4 iPhone, and it worked for me. :-) QUOTE(Choongster @ Apr 4 2008, 11:43 PM) http://iphone.nonsoft.com/repo/ Added the source but after downloading it, can't see it in my source. Didn't see isms anyway too. : add this URL in your installer and iSMS will install itself .. easier than SMSD now u owe me 35 bucks Since there's two of you, i think it's best i pay whoevers method i used successfully. Nice bro, you guys are the coolest.
I sent my iphone into an endless reboot loop trying to figure this out. LOL I still thing there's lots of room for improvement on ISMS. What's your wishlist features in iSMS? Mine would be, 1) to add a 'reply' option. 2) the 'send' button could be a little prominent too. 3) group/catergorized callers 4) a quicker way to add contacts by pushing the first letter in their names to minimized the list instead of strolling which looks nice but a little time consuming. 5) still thinking. |
