jz wanna share with u guys, my airflow goes like this n trap dust from 3 source including the sidepanel....everyday need to wipe so the dust can't go in.  doh.gif
*
shocking.gif to me it looks wrong, ur 212 is pushing not pulling? And the rear is pulling . . . err, its like tarik tali on both sides, same strength so no winners flex.gif . In my opinion u should change the 212 fan to pull, n all top to output so hot air thats pulled from ur 212 gets sucked from rear and top. Hot air goes up, so help the hot air out.
P/S: Off topic i guess

At the bottom of CM690, is it possible to change the filter to something else? Perhaps, more cooling devices?
*
Filter u can put any filter if u dun wanna use the provided filter, btw u do know a 140/120 mm fan can be put there as intake if thats what u meant by cooling devices.

Since there are so many user of CM690, I would like to ask where the screw to use on the motherboard? I didn't find any plastic containing any screw on it, only spacers do I found ..  sweat.gif

Yes, rhis is my first time to try to assemble pc alone ..  shocking.gif
*
use the screws at the 5.25 bay at its side.

i think he is meaning the one to hold the mobo onto the casing.
*
the gold colour screws are the spacers . . . to space out the mobo from mobo tray, he meant the screws to hold the mobo . . . i think. sweat.gif

the screws at both side of the 5.25 bay. 2 rows
*
ya . . . try the lower screws, they nvr provide anypastic containing screws instead put them on the 5.25 bay supposedly to ease our job of looking for screws.

Hi there, since there are so many people love to modded their casing and show the pic, I believe all of you already have so many experience in plug in or plug off the cable, I would like to request for help, I'm trying to assemble my pc alone for my first time, but got problem in FPanel LED, Those Pwer Switch +, - Reset, etc . Try to follow the manual, but at the CM690, there no + or - other than System/Power LED.

If someone got CoolerMaster cm690 and Gigabyte DS3P/DS3/DS3L/DS3R, can you show me the pic of how you :

1) Put in the little cable?

Got problem since didn't know the + and negative on the wire ... should I assume the white is negative?
*
aiks, i thought the wires got marking + n - . . . but ya white is negative.

me toooo...hope he can give some details...
one noob q here...
if we put d psu in d casing, what is d proper way to put it...
i mean d fan of psu...
is it upward or downward...sori for my eng cuz i dont know how to explain it properly... sweat.gif  sweat.gif  sweat.gif
*
it doesnt really matter upward or downward, but downward would be recommended since it gets cool air for the psu, if upward it will only get hot air from inside the casing instead.

@ hermit, look at my siggie~ got hyper 212 edi~

tried intake exhaust, but very sempit there cannot put tangan to plug in the eps cpu power. this casing + this cooler = pening kpale.
*
Oops . . . my mistake, nvr see sweat.gif then just change the front panel top fan, put the same 90cfm fan sure more thumbup.gif .

@Irzani
There no space for an anti vibrate pad behind the mobo, its used as exhaust which fits only 80x80x15 fan . . . its installation can see from manual.

So, did you use the 80mm fan? Did it noisy without the anti vibrate?
*
Ive tried before, but im using quietek fan, got it from old pc, not much vibration to me, just the sound of the air a little noisy . . . but took it off, too many fans running.
