If I not wrong, normally it around 5% higher than interbank exchange rate on that day. The best is put on extra money in your debit card. No harm.

QUOTE(OnGx2 @ Jul 15 2009, 01:09 PM) Thanks a lot MNet for the reply, is that mean I can use debit card from any bank? Im thinking to get one from AmBank...or an international bank is better? Not all debit card will work. To withdraw paypal fund, only visa card will work. It can be from any bank as long as your bank support it. I am using Maybank cherry visa debit now.and when i withdraw my money to the debit card...the USD in my paypal account will transfered into RM in debit card right? Paypal will convert the USD to RM for you, before transferring. |

QUOTE(kopiokao @ Oct 2 2009, 05:08 PM) ok,i will direct this question to them right away. i've also got to know that paypal allowed Malaysia user to withdraw funds in Malaysia. is it true? How is the procedure like? What is the 'interest' like to do withdrawal in Malaysia? QUOTE(happy4ever @ Oct 3 2009, 01:13 AM) No interest You have to pay USD5 per withdrawal though & maximum withdrawal limit per day is USD500just withdraw into your credit card or debit card account. Usually its debit card because you can cash it out via ATM. |

QUOTE(Cryorazor @ Oct 9 2009, 06:55 PM) I have a question here, can I send money for purchasing goods by charging my cc? My paypal balance is 1.95USD. Everytime I try to send money paypal will ask me to add funds. If I can't pay with cc or add funds to paypal, what's the point of using it here? if you have successfully link your CC to paypal (EXPUSE NO ENTERED), you can pay your purchase with that credit card but if you have paypal balance, the balance is the first priority than only they take the money from CC. |

QUOTE(Cryorazor @ Oct 10 2009, 03:33 PM) My cc is verified with premier account. I'm not paying for ebay items but trying to use "send money online"--->"online purchases"--->"this is a purchases of goods". Everytime I click continue I get this "Sorry, your payment won't go through. To make it work, you'll need to add money to your account and pay with your PayPal balance." I can't even choose the option to pay or is there a way to change it manually? Thanks! I think I know what is your problem. I believe you paypal account is new with verified credit card. And you want to transfer large sum of money. Try again with small amount of money & see what going to happen.I hope this is not the only option Tell us whether you succeed or not. |

QUOTE(Cryorazor @ Oct 11 2009, 03:02 AM) My account is not new but I've just verified my card. I had to email them just to get back the verification fees but they never solve my problem. I tried sending with smaller amount but still get the same problem. It's really frustrating..maybe I should keep email them until I get a solution. Well, its really strange. Do you tried something like $100 or less to see if it works?What card are you using? You have another credit/debit card to try? One more thing you can check is to check "Manage Funding Sources" page. Do you credit card selected? To access Manage Funding Sources" page, go here Profiles -> Financial Information -> Edit Funding Options |

QUOTE(BloodyCrystal @ Oct 13 2009, 09:50 AM) But the problem is they are just selling off their paypal fund. Yeah I know, Just try to make up something. Meaning that I transfer ringgit to their maybank account and they transfer paypal fund to me. Will not got any invoice. Anyone knows how long the paypal limitation can get resolved? A few hours? A few days? Their customer service contact number is a singapore number and I'm reluctant to call them. How do the seller send you the paypal fund? personal payment or online purchase? what note that the seller left in paypal when sending paypal to you? After that try to produce invoice based on above information. I think you need to produce the invoice not the other party. It won't resolve until you provide all that paypal want. |

QUOTE(lord_aminkin @ Oct 13 2009, 03:02 PM) Hiya all, wanna ask something here. Malaysia credit card no problem. Been using it for years now. But if you have new account they may limit the amount of money transacted initially.My company probably gonna need me to make transaction via Paypal consist of thousands USD deal. What do I need to open an account for this kind of deal? Can I use a debit card? I heard my friend said that he's having trouble when to deal thousands USD using Paypal. He said that Paypal doesn't accept fund from credit card base on Malaysia, is true? It'll appreciated if anyone can enlighten me on this for future reference? Thanks |

@AskarPerang
I just received paypal fund from another Malaysian fellow. There is a note attach to this transfer which come from paypal which says "Malaysian residents can only exchange funds with other Malaysian residents in Ringgits when using their PayPal balances." Seem like they want to stop Malaysian sellling/buying paypal fund. Luckily the fund that I received still in USD. if not I lose 2.5% on conversion rate.
