Everyone has their own preference. If you want/look for a gold digger then you end up with his/her gold digging traits and "benefits". If you want/look for someone whose not so hard up for money (let's face it, money is important though materialism is another matter), you'll enjoy a pretty darn good relationship (also depends on both your character and personality of cos...)
