besides, career fair how can i apply the management trainee?
*
You could drop your CV directly to their human resource website hrd@publicbank.com.my and state what position you are applying for.

ur fren is so lucky. and i realized that, quite a lots of science and engineering or IT students perform better than banking students  sweat.gif
wat's her department? credit? hire purchase?
*
Actually not really, I was a former Graduate Trainee in PBB myself and I'm from science based too tongue.gif

But in the end it all boils down to your passion and interest. Of course those studying banking would have some sort of advantage as they are more well versed with the terms used, nevertheless PBB offers quite good training to all newjoiners thumbup.gif

wow, seem like the interview is not easy, im from mass comm background, i hav tried to drop resume to the hrd email. Hope they will call me.... blush.gif
I applied for the credit analyst position..i dont have any knowledge in banking....help.... cry.gif
*
Don't worry, the interview is not all that tough just some general open ended questions smile.gif
BTW you wouldn't need to have any knowledge in banking to enter a banking industry...no worries at all as FULL training would be provided

The fourth day after the interview...still haven't received any call from public bank..does it mean that my application has been rejected?
*
Look on the bright side...and do not be overly concern....sometimes all it takes is some patience

what if they offer you to your second choice location and said that you will be transfer to 1st choice once there got vancancy? any idea?

Added on June 4, 2011, 4:37 pmand i hope someone can talk more about the benefit as PBB staff...hehe
*
If it comes to that, then you would have to decide for yourself whether would you be comfortable working in your second choice location. However, take note that there are times when you are undergoing training in first choice location when out of the blue you might be required to go to a different location. It's all up to HR's jurisdiction cool2.gif

Benefits? I'm sure most of the "cruicial" benefits are listed in the papers already whistling.gif

I just get the position of trainee credit analyst in malacca but i prefer JB branch...So the person told me that i will be transferred  back once JB branch got vacancy, hopefully lo...
*
It really depends alot on luck. This is due to other candidates which have also applied to be transferred to JB branch earlier than you. However the choice would be up to the HR and BM

I'm an engineer and interested to join bank organization. Is there any chance if i apply any vacancy at bank?
*
There are always chances no matter which organization you apply to.
However do not worry, as in banking, they have many positions throughout the organization which would suit you. Furthermore intensive classroom and on-the-job training are provided too laugh.gif
