Anyone working at the Bangi branch? How's the overall environment there?

Which division are you appointed at? Finance?

I'm not from that dept but I'm also a Management Trainee.

Usually a few days or weeks after being at HQ, you'll be sent to the Bangi center for a few months training.

They play the songs daily in the HQ. Those who go to ITD can avoid this.

You'll learn about the bank; Frontline Operations. Over time you will learn more on Credit and Financing.

Can say syok lo, dont need to work when youre at the training center, hehe.

No la, they won't reject you terus.

As long as you're not facing serious health issues, chances they hire are high.

Not really, HQ also got lots of politics too.

The offer letter pretty much explains what you can enjoy. Panel clinics are usually free if you're looking for meds.

If you're based in HQ and/ or are not a mobile staff, you cannot claim OT.

Lotus Note is basically their email client.

For desks, it's true to a certain extent. If the department is overcrowded, you might have to switch places or bear without PCs.

In-house. They're outdated af

Training center is a little secluded but serene. You get to hang out with colleagues at the hostel after working hours (4:45pm during Fridays). Everyone usually go home on Fridays and return on Sundays.

During the first two courses, you learn about the bank from the history to what the front line officers do. Everyone gets assigned to groups, and "compete" to be the best one throughout the 3 courses.

Breakfasts, lunches, refreshments and dinners are free, exclusively for trainees. But they serve lots of kuihs and tea/ coffee too during the tea breaks.

The last one is more challenging; character building-like module. Everyone is taken to an outdoor resort in Pahang and spend 3D/ 2N. The remaining week is back to the training center and you get introduced to some grooming course.

All of these are usually completed within a year.

They will still join and be allowed to skip their duties, but gotta catchup once they resume.

Most will go back. But you're free to stay throughtout the weekend.

1 month if under probation, 3 months once passed.

Hmm, mine was for a permanent position but I reckon they should be more or less the same; 6 months of probation.

As for the last sentence, yes if you've passed it.
