dunno abt the 5.1 speakers, but u are comparing the wrong stuff for the 2.1
vs4121 - rm230
evo 7 - rm135
huge difference, dude wink.gif
but i would recommend u to stay away from evo 7 if u only fancy the LED, it will dim out after long usage
and please, state your main usage, gaming? movie? music?

at least i feel tat it is better than EVO 7,4121 is very very depends on how u place the speaker,to get the 4121 real potential,u need to get the right position to put the speaker...

Here are some correction for those who judge 4121 by listen in computer shop or pc fair:

the sound u listen from 4121 in this environment is not exactly the real sound of 4121 becoz normally they will put 4121's all component close together ( satelites and woofer stick close each other)..
*to get the max sound potential from 4121, satelites and woofer must stay far away from each other

I use my speaker for multi-purpose. Equally use in gaming, movie, music...... Ok. Now that Evo 7 is out of my list.

a lot of my friends had AL VS4121....woofer is not the main issue here...i had tune EQ, try stock, a lot of different placement, the down firing midrange driver is a nightmare, it kill the whole system potential...

Here i give TS a strong advise, don't buy the speaker that have the down firing midrange satellite such as AL VS4121 and ATP3, midrange driver perform large portion of detail, such as vocal...try imagine how good the sound if the singer sing behind u or sing under the desk? sweat.gif LET THE MIDRANGE DRIVER DIRECTLY FACING U, BUT NOT HIDDEN FROM U...

actually what is your budget? if RM200-RM300, go for Edifier, got few models you can choose from...HERE

I'll get a Creative X-FI Audio to be paired with this new speaker. So, its better to get a not so expensive speaker since my full budget for audio is RM500. Just state the models dudes....
