i think u can install summerboard using WInstaller on your computer. just grab the old version of summerboard package and then install it using WInstaller. and then u can scroll your homescreen, and now u can select Installer.

btw i haven't using WInstaller or iBrickr for this applications installing tasks, coz i'm not from the 1.0.x era. but it should work. i only use WInstaller once when i'm experimenting with early firmware version (1.0.x).

mmm...after u have successfully perform revirginize, restore to latest firmware, and unlock/jailbreak/activate it, don't use WInstaller anymore. serious precaution here. WInstaller is only compatible with 1.0.x. it will give u problem if using it on newer firmware.

another way is of course WInstaller on the PC. just download the old summerboard package into your computer, and install it onto the iPhone using WInstaller on your computer. just like iBrickr. can be found at:

and after installing the old summerboard, just open the Installer app on iPhone and follow the steps that frozzbyte has provided (add source, install).

u need to revirginize your iPhone like the TS says on post #7.

ok now the iTunes part. have u use iTunes before? if not, better download one from apple.com/iTunes.
now for Restore file to the latest firmware. u can download the firmware file from:

ok wanna ask first. are u familiar on iTunes interface? and have u copied the contact files to Outlook / Address Book?
