huhuhu... seems the airflow in my casing is quite bad. My idle temp increased from 28'C (in previous case) to 36'C in this casing
ermm i did the reverse airflow so that the air inflow at the front panel and out at the rear casing.. is that a bad idea? and one more, i notice that the exhaust fan is not strong enough to pull the hot air from the HSF. |

QUOTE(m2n-e @ Apr 20 2008, 06:43 PM) but ur psu is under ur hdd which is at front.. (intake) ur front intake fan blowing ur hot psu air into the casing.. no wonder the temp would go up.. so it is a bad idea for me to reverse the airflow, rite? |

QUOTE(Doom @ Apr 20 2008, 07:00 PM) my advice would be keep the original fan configuration but replaced it with stronger fan ...and remove all the fan grill .. ok.. i just re-adjust the fans and the hsf, so that the airflow will be like the original setup, intake from rear case and exhaust at the front.[Front exhaust and rear intake] the reason you aren't getting adequate airflow is because of the fan grill that blocked 50% and more of the airflow intake... As for the graphic card area try to remove the PCI-Slot covers and see it brings positive result to ur gc or not .. Try that and see got different or not .. . So far the temp is acceptable for me Next step, find some aeroslots and stronger fans.. Thanks guys! |
