This is my Lian Li PC-A6010, quite good mid tower, removable mobo tray, removable top panel, air duct at the back, and new hdd mounting mechanism. Although its mid tower, quite good for water cooling as the removable top panel ease lotsa hardware installation.

QUOTE(Doom @ Dec 24 2008, 07:43 PM) wow... u fixed so many tubes into the case ... one thing i like this case... almost everypart can taken apart... i can open the top panel for cable management, removable mobo tray, removable air duct etc etcchun ... but wont it be hard when doing maintenance or hardware changes .. after all, GPU is not cooled with wc, so still have to clean the dust once in a while ... so if maintainance although its more time consuming then air cooling... i put a copper brass tube join there to ease me when flushing the loop. then i can take out the gfx by taking out the reservoir and pump. i think only part need to be cleaned is the hsf for gpu. but gotto take down the wc system once in a while (around 1/2 year) for cleaning and maintainance purpose... jz tht i hate cable management for this case, especially bottom area of the mobo... from pic u can see all the cables are there no places to hide... ya... actually i got use PSU extender for more convinient cable management... the lian li psu extender... else every thing will be more pack
initially plan to wc the gpu as well... last time i also used to water cool the gpu... but since my radiator are mcr-220qo, i guess it just can handle i7 (OC'ed of course)... need larger raddy if wan water cool everything but it cant fit in such mid tower... dont like full tower as i moving my pc every sem break from campus to hometown... so current setup make me convinient to move pc around and yet provide mid end water cooling... |

QUOTE(OC4/3 @ Feb 21 2009, 01:28 AM) Don't even bother when you use small rad like this i also wish i can get a full tower and fix tri fan raddy on it... but i think current mcr-220qp serve me well.. been using it for 3 years... and also if i use big raddy, the system will become more bulky and loss the purpose i move back to mid tower from stacker last time... i wish to have a bit mobility for my case as a uni student...Heck,I7 is begging for a tri fan rad And the gain on good air cool gc vs liquid cool gc is not that big also |
