QUOTE(wiNd @ Apr 16 2008, 06:20 PM)

i guess have to go for A10B or A17B...any comments?
*
A17B is a better choice

A10B, some previous owners experienced bad cooling performance on this case hmm.gif

A10B should suffer abit on the airflow because of its door design...anyway, its still a beauty

anyway, will consider to get A17B since its alot cheaper  biggrin.gif
*
if only distro would bring em here (PC-A71)

so sad la, they only brought cases which is not high in demand

my budget is less than RM400.but PC-7S is not so attractive to me.got other casing that good?
.....
*
download the ATE price list i attached

list down all the models that are subs RM400

browse through Lian Li official web page

google for reviews on the particular case (if there is any)

QUOTE(nemesis94 @ Apr 29 2008, 09:20 AM)
.....

wanna ask what type of casing is this?i steal it from www.hardforum.com

http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h121/maliciousred69/IMG_0200-1.jpg

.....
*
that's a PC-7 (not available locally)

closest case to this model that available here is PC-7YCF

basically is just the same model, just that Lian Li switch the sidepanel to a big mesh panel instead a transparent panel (like in the pic), then rename it to PC-7YCF

btw, the case in the pic is a modded one, don't expect the handle bar thingy to be available

QUOTE(nemesis94 @ Apr 29 2008, 09:20 AM)
......

and what the difference between PC-7A PC-7B PC-7B Plus ll and other?
*
A = Silver
B = Black
Plus II = just included some cooling accessories with it (which i find it utterly useless)

eg. PC-7 & PC-7 Plus II, both are the same model, except the Plus II version got some cooling accessories came with it

@evilnickwong,

try to change the exhause fan from 80mm to 120mm fan,
1st you can reduce the fan rpm, 2nd, better air flow for your entire system. it was just a simple mod, a blow hole and some drilling.

rgds

...
*
lol, are u sure the rear mobo tray panel able to fit a 120mm fan?

here's the rear view of a Lian Li PC-60 Plus II

yeah~

i know it~ the stock cooling fans miss the plate about 1.5mm only~

hahaha~ if i put out the supporting bay,i cannot put my rom drives~ so its useless~

biggrin.gif
*
no need to remove the plate

mod it, cut a big square hole

then only the clearance issue will solve

but since ur current rig fits perfectly no need to mod it la

QUOTE(evilnickwong @ May 21 2008, 01:04 PM)
Quick question guys. If I remove the rivets on the top panel of my PC60, what can I use to replace them later? I'd try not to use rivets again, so that future removal will be quick, I was thinking nut + bolt, but where to get such a small diameter + length?
...
*
i think most hardware shop got those small2 nut+bolt

try finding it first b4 drilling the rivets out

QUOTE(evilnickwong @ May 21 2008, 01:04 PM)

Also, I want to replace the LEDs for the power and HDD. Any idea if there's a specific rating to get, or any LED of the same 5mm size will do?
*
any LED of the same 5mm size will do

i did it last time for my G7, just buy any 5mm led available at the hardware shop

works like a charm (replace the fugly stock color led with a blue led one wub.gif )

if im not mistaken u can just screw it in with the same screws used for HDDs. provided the hole u drill to get the rivet out doesnt turn out to be the right size la.
*
so u saying the holes already got screw thread on em?

no need to use nut+bolt la

yup, TJ09/10 only got direct air flow for the expansion slot

TJ07 lg teruk, no intake fan langsung laugh.gif

Lian Li's TYR provide both proc/RAM & expansion slot direct air flow (say bye bye to fcuking ugly RAM cooler icon_idea.gif )

interior painted black too wub.gif

Serious speaking this case for XboX looks SXXX ....

Is a Xbox really that hot requiring so much of cooling effort and the size seems to e way much bigger than original Xbox case ..

Furthermore losing the color theme on Xbox is really lame loh ..

What is Xbox without the original color theme .... hmm.gif

Seriously I really wonder what happened to the Lian Li company, they seems to be diverse to any kind of area where aluminum case would be needed ... might as well just venture into home theater Receiver case manufacturing.. they need lots of cooling and aluminum case loh ..
*
owh i wish it was for pc case

why Lian Li never even thought making mATX tower case, not desktop type lor, tower type sad.gif
