not so good? almost gotten the normal 92mm evercool fans..
*
its a good fan with high cfm

but its a no for sensitive ears users

namely doom laugh.gif

QUOTE(hypermax @ Nov 9 2008, 10:19 PM)
No, definitely not. However, it is strong and the noise from vibration is less as the frame is heavy.
However, the motor noise can be quite loud at full blast.
*
the fan is heavy liao, solid

sure lessen the vibration

QUOTE(hypermax @ Nov 9 2008, 10:19 PM)
But, these alu fans are definitely a big no no for sensitive ears.  smile.gif
*
u see Doom's rig already know he's a silent freak

those noctua fans are damn quiet compared to those evercool fans

QUOTE(Doom @ Nov 10 2008, 12:14 AM)
@xk2
I saw this before at the hardforum and million dollar pc if not mistaken ..
Another nice mod loh,,
*
yup, at hardforum

he's from german iinm

thats his 2nd sff case mod

his 1st case mod was v350

btw, do u run those intake fans on 12V?

(+)ve pressure, rite

have u tested running both intake fans on 5V!?

see whether the temps effected significantly or not

haha, looks like I'm known for silent setup only. ... brows.gif

I'm running on 12v now, haven't tested on 7v but will try it soon after I got my 9cm Noctua delivered hopefully on wednesday.

Btw, I also wanted to do that mod on the rear side of the HDD cage which annoyed me for all the time with fan humming. But lacking of tool is the only issue .... arr
*
that mesh mod looks cool than the alu panel mod

but the alu panel mod surely eliminates the humming noise

i'm just glad that the rear panel could be fitted with 92mm fan

My PC-A05 back fan is sucking the air from outside and blowing it inside.  sweat.gif
Is this really the correct setup? Cause I never change it.
*
thats correct

PC-A05 sucking the air from the rear

exhausting em on the front

QUOTE(naq_saviola @ Dec 3 2008, 03:40 PM)
thats the only series eh?
*

if u planning to mod then lotsa option

even those ATX case also can be converted to BTX, eg PC-A10 brows.gif

QUOTE(mADmAN @ Dec 3 2008, 04:02 PM)
PC-V1200

dunno if it comes with transparent side panel or not...but that can always be modded
*

how much u get for the pc07 ?

pc-g7 is newer than pc-7

take note that pc-g7's front i/o port

its located at the top panel

so if u placing ur case on the table

its gonna irritate u for some while to reach to ports

Need to go to Lowyat this Friday and get some blower
My GC is REALLY hot. 70 degree C at idle.  cry.gif .HIS HD 4870

My casing is PC-A05.
Got 3 HDs installed. Airflow from the back to front..
Maybe need to change the airflow direction.

Hopefully can lower the overall temp.
*
don't u aware that PC-A05 need to be modded to be efficient!

the top panel gotta, by all means, mod 120mm fan slot on it

there u'll see significant temps drop biggrin.gif

Removing the pci slot covers doesn't help much. only drop 1-2 C.
Remove the side panel give reduce the temp 10C. Still not good enough. The temp should at max 50C at idle. Now 60C
Hm..need to mod this casing and put more fan at the side panel. Who can do this?
Can recommend the most silent fan available.
*
search for scythe slip stream case fan

rm45/piece
