Quick question guys. If I remove the rivets on the top panel of my PC60, what can I use to replace them later? I'd try not to use rivets again, so that future removal will be quick, I was thinking nut + bolt, but where to get such a small diameter + length?
Also, I want to replace the LEDs for the power and HDD. Any idea if there's a specific rating to get, or any LED of the same 5mm size will do? |

dunno man... i guess the screws will make the thread... but ive seen a few where they drill out and then just replace them with normal HDD screw.

Hi guys, thanks for the input!
I've seen hardware shop with the nuts and bolts, but most bolts are too long, gotta cut it I think. As for screws, I don't know if it will be so convenient as to just fit like that lol. I thought it will require tapping of the hole (expensive job) at the very least. Still, if neither works, I guess I can just get a riveter. Need to remove the top panel to begin my interior repainting job. ^.^ |

QUOTE(boyz @ May 23 2008, 12:21 PM) well depends on what you want to put in. and what sort of airflow pattern you required. you wouldnt want to spend the price different are so much between v1000 and v1200?extra for uneccessary space that u dont need right? if u noton any budget then got for 1200 v1000 = rm770(plus minus) v1200 = ??? i want setup my new wc set~ can wait for new case~ but the size only different about 100mm only~ This post has been edited by kursk: May 23 2008, 11:58 AM |
