Hi, if anybody is interested to get a desktop Lian Li case, I have one for xxx.  Link - removed tongue.gif

As replacement, got myself a Griffin case.  Very nice and compact version of the minitower, only downside is it's not for CPU modders - there's not enough room to put a big heatsink/fan as it faces the PSU unit.

wow karom, the size of the Lian Li PC-V1010B is very very big lol
what is the spec for this case ?

The cable management look good smile.gif
if able to sleeve all those wire, i think it will be perfect.
*
it got the same size with TJ07

not exactly the same size lor

V1010 just lose few cm only which aint noticeable anyway laugh.gif

QUOTE(karom @ Feb 16 2009, 02:46 PM)
Hello guys,

I just finished equip my friend's pc on Lian Li PC-V1010B.

He is using Enermax PSU which is hard to arrange cable management.
*
nice case

mind to take a shot behind the mobo tray

between the mobo tray & the side panel

i guess one of the orb coolers from thermaltake should be able to fit in the case with the PSU or others similar like it.

need to go find review for this case just to see.... biggrin.gif
*
QUOTE(Doom @ Feb 23 2009, 06:29 AM)
most of time such case only could fit cooler with 11cm of height loh ..

and the motherboard is removable.,,, brows.gif

like what kujaboyde said, I'd not go for such case unless running HTPC or low profile PC.

the CPU cooler height restriction is a killer.
*
not forgetting TR AXP-140 brows.gif

QUOTE(DarkNite @ Feb 23 2009, 09:03 AM)
Like that means this casing not suitable to fit in an i7 system? Beside the obvious full tower casing, which is the smallest Lian Li casing you guys will recommend for i7 & dusty environment?
*
why its not suitable for i7 system?

can slap stock cooler in there for non-ocer

can slap AXP-140 for ocer

QUOTE(Mecha949 @ Feb 23 2009, 09:08 AM)
can you put a CS hyper 212 in it ?
*
nope, height clearance ~11cm

"quiet". Spelling mistake.lol. Don border with the price and just look at the design of the case and suggest me which casing is good for sound insulation? Just choose from the list I stated above. tq
*
all of ur listed cases will be noisy

rules to follow.....

1-amount of fans

the lesser fans u use, the lesser noise its gonna produce

minimum amount = 2 fans (1xintake & 1xexhaust)

exhaust fan set to 5v/7v (aldy got psu’s fan exhausting air)

2-fan type

choose the normal fans

high performance fans is damn loud liao

3-fan size

the bigger the fan is the less noise it produce

140mm = best
120mm = better
80/90mm = good

4-Hdd bay

choose a case where hdd bay is facing the fan not the side panel (like cases u listed)

reason: hdd bay facing side panel --> greater air resistance --> yield noises when air passes through

damn, i gotta do a review for this

mind lending some cases to me, anyone blush.gif

Thanks for your reply. Currently I got 2 pcs 12cm 90cfm CM fan and 2 pcs 12cm CM led silent fans. they are quite quiet. only my PSU's fan produce a bit noise only.

In your opinion, which casing should I choose? Don offer me casing's deep bigger thn 52cm due to my table is 57cm deep only. Thanks.
*
my vote goes with kujaboyde

pc-a17

just make sure u runs both exhaust fan (rear panel & top panel) on 5v/7v

using pc-a17 u'll get 3 exhaust fan (rear panel, top panel, psu fan)

no need to run all exhaust fans on 12v (except psu la, unless u want to void warranty) laugh.gif

the side panel that came with the casing by default is just plain side panel

if u wanna transparent side panel u gotta buy it separately

in conclusion, u'll have an extra side panel wink.gif
