Actually what the different between Tun Abdul Rahman University and TAR University(UTAR)?? actually I am confuse...
Thinking to transfer into UTAR, but many claimed that UTAR is too chinese oriented speaking... which will not make me to better... as you guys know, me from chinese education background! dun wish to struggle into chinese chinese chinese again!
that why wanna ask about anyone from UTAR, this college is it that bad?!!
how was the environment, facilities? --> Btw I am thinking to transfer to UTAR at Setapak.. for IT course.

Honestly it is not advisable to go to UTAR at setapak lahhh.. I've been there once for enquiries, and it just felt like my chinese high school, even the admins also speak in chinese when explaining the offering course to me just bcos i'm a chinese. LOL. Plus no offense, the area is rather complicated. A few of my friends that come from the same hometown studying in UTAR setapak now is going out of track, everyday skipping class, and mixing around with complicated friends. Thou their fees is cheap but i think what's that really matter is your life, your future. There's alot more cheaper alternatives outside......

they have pretty good environment also in the college also

The situation was not true as described up there.
Dominantly the university is occupied by the chinese, but that doesnt mean that english speaking is not feasible at the university.
We still have lots of students from english educated background as well as some international students.
Dont stereotype base on what you heard.
The only drawback would be the facilities here, aged equipments wih bad maintainance on the facilities. anyway this will be resolved soon as UTAR will be moving soon to a new campus at Sg Long.

A current UTAR student here anyway.

I heard that many stpm good students who didnt get their desired courses from IPTA go to UTAR, is it true??

Does UTAR sg long campus really sucks ? Cause im planning to go utar and my degree is only available in sg long campus TT and the PJ & KL campus are moving into sg long campus this may.. i cant imagine how packed it would be @@
