Haha. Seriously, it depends on your lecturer. When you are learning Enzymology (year 2), you will be tested on Structural Biochemistry stuff from year 1. When you are doing Proteomics in Year 3, you will be tested on Enzymology from Year 2. Haha. Its a cycle. Things will get related to one another as you study deeper and as you go, you will felt that you are actually studying some similar stuff from previous semesters. So, like I said, if you lecturer is those syiok sendiri type, most probably she/he will come out with questions that is out of expectations.

The credit hour I stated in my previous post is my assumptions. I have no idea how much I have accumulated so far, as I dont remember that, but only my cgpa. Even that, its the first 2 digit that I can remember. Lol.

Well, its a good rearrangement. At least now, they know the importance of learning cell/plant tissue culture techniques, in which most of the senior miss out on. This subject is rather important, especially when you want to take up Final Year Project that is related to it. Hence you know why, Dr. Anna and Dr. Tee rejected all biochem student for their project.

But similarily, we have our advantage in learning details of metabolism and enzymology. Hence you know why Dr. Woo, Dr. Wong all prefer Biochem student. But I guess, learn the maximum will be the best and you will have more options in the future. Lol.

Haha, seriously, I want 3 months holiday badly ! Hahaha.

Lol. I bet during my 3 year of studies, I rely a lot on both lecture notes and textbooks. Wikipedia is one of my best friend, but it isnt reliable at times. But at least, wikipedia can give you some general understanding on most stuff. If you are in Bioscience, prepare yourself mentally to read journals for more realiable info. This apply when you have to do weekly lab reports.

Some textbook will be very useful, such as Biochemistry textbook. Get a good one, I forgotten the name la, but will post it out once I check it out. Can be used from Year 1 to Year 3. Core subject normally will require a textbook as the lecturer will not be able to teach everything to you. You will need to have self initiative to read it yourself, especially when exam is near . Some lecturer will give test/ exam beyond your books. There is one good lecturer (she is in Kampar btw), who love to gives open book test. But mind you, even open book, you will not be able to find the answer. Lol.
