Well, its a good rearrangement. At least now, they know the importance of learning cell/plant tissue culture techniques, in which most of the senior miss out on. This subject is rather important, especially when you want to take up Final Year Project that is related to it. Hence you know why, Dr. Anna and Dr. Tee rejected all biochem student for their project.

But similarily, we have our advantage in learning details of metabolism and enzymology. Hence you know why Dr. Woo, Dr. Wong all prefer Biochem student. But I guess, learn the maximum will be the best and you will have more options in the future. Lol.

Haha, seriously, I want 3 months holiday badly ! Hahaha.

No worries, even a few weeks after utar started their class, they still accept new student.

I did get my approval letter and i forgot to pay the bill cause busy working part time. Then I had to write in and they told me they will review it first and cannot accept payment anymore. I was afraid that time and almost went for form 6. But then I found out that its just a normal procedure and NO MATTER WHAT, as long as u are qualified they will take you in~

hahaha .. i do hope that i can get de offer letter as soon as possible cuz i nid 2 find de accomodation earlier ...
hopefully everything goes smoothly la .... pray hard pray hard !!!!

And about the exemptions, is Malaysian Studies = Pengajian Malaysia? Because I have taken it (Malaysian Studies) and I sent in the letter from my college regarding my "status" (that I have taken Malaysian Studies) to the university when I applied and the only one subject they exempted me from taking (written in the offer letter) is Bahasa Kebangsaan.

Or is there something more complicated that I have to get done in order to be exempted from it? (I really don't want to repeat this subject )

I just realised that the Malaysian Studies and Moral Education subject code in the UTAR timetable for Biochem students is MPW2133 and MPW2153 respectively but the ones I have taken is coded as MPW1133 and MPW1153 (only difference is the number 2 there)

Is there any difference between those two codes or is it the same? Because the subjects are the same.

It's really making me confused. Now I do not know whether I could ask for exemption for this subject or not.

Anyone can help me clarify this matter? Thanks.

Not sure about the otehr campuses but here in the Kamapr campus, students have to pay to use the courts in the sport complex while we can use TARC's one or the one in a nearby town for free.

Not quite sure about this but from my observation, the code of subject in Y1 starts with 1, i.e. 1xxx while it is 2xxx for Y2. So I think they are the same but taken in different academic year.

TARC KL need to pay but Kampar dont need to?
Yup, ur right. The course code is mostly dependent on the year and semester, its not followed strictly. If you have taken the subject, provided the sylabus is the same, exemptions should be no problem
