5 credits can enter. no problem. UTAR only has foundation in arts and foundation in science. IT is considered as foundation in arts but different stream meaning you'll be in the same class with those planning to study IT in degree.

Hello,

I would like to ask about the BSc. Quantity Surveying course in UTAR.

From the course structure, I see that every year there are only 2 semesters. Does that mean that every year the third semester is holiday?

For January intake students, every October Sem holiday (3 months)?

For May intake students, every January Sem holiday (3 months) ?

So, does that also mean that,

January 2009 intake students will complete their course in September 2013 ?

May 2009 intake students will complete their course in December 2013 ?

Please correct me if i'm wrong..

Thank you very Much! icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

In KTAR, high failing rate since the exam question are not easy.

20% of the lectural are hopeless. Some just read what they write in their note.

Sometime have part time lectural, so you have night and saturday class.

Some lectural have more than 300 student in 1 semester, so you don't have a real consultation hour.

There always plenty of gaps between class. I used to have 1 class in early morning, 1 in noon and 1 in late evening.

Don't expect first class service, this is a low cost college. All the staff there is just like government servant.

More assignment and presentation if compare to UTAR. Poor and outdated facilities, except the computer lab.

In the end, many things you have to work out yourself in KTAR. Don't so dependent like what you used to be in secondary school.
