True, like there examples:-
Hound and Swindle Jeep mould differences:- tyres (smaller tires, large offroad tires), paint work (Hound green, Swindle yellow), head, number plate
Mirage & Hot rodimus: number plate ("Mirage" and "too hot"), paintwork (blue with racing stripes, red with flames), head
Shockwave and Jazz: Number plate, Shockwave left arm has a blaster, head, color, different bodykit (shockwave has mazdaspeed bodykit, jazz stock car i think)
Grimlock and Wheeljack: number plate, head, paintjob( silver vs white with blue racing stripes)
repaint means they use the same old mould and just change the color. BB08 and cliffjumper is a very good example. Recon barricade and police barricade, movie leader OP and NWOP are among the other examples. But Blt and Alt they change enough items to make them unique from one another.
hmm if that is the revised definition for 'repaint'.... then id have to revised my "buying terms"

1. No repaints unless the original is no more in production/impossible to get.
2. No remold if the only thing that changes is the head (i.e. transformation scheme is the same)
for no.2, unless theres significant mold change (like BT Laserwave compared to Meister), then no buy

actually my number One collecting rule"
"buy only TFs that appear in TV series/Movies"
in a way, can avoid repaints and remolds if follow that rule.... part of the reason why i dont have a single Classics/Henkeis in my collection (though they are great molds)
