hey, thanks guys. I have settled into INTI now. Staying in Block K currently, single room and the showers are almost always empty (there is only 25 rooms in each floor unlike other blocks).

And keeping with INTI tradition, I'm almost always never in my room. Will be lepak'ing at Block E until 4am with with COPS-CFA pals.

Hi,

I looking for a room (fully furnished) at Nilai Desa Palma Apartment.
Please email me (mayryn_2000@yahoo.com) if you happen to know any1 renting out for a room.
Is there any bus going pass by from the apartment to LCCT? How often the bus will pass by? Appreciate your reply. Thanks first.
*
The buses travel to LCCT quite often. About once every 20 minutes or so.

i'm gonna be transferring from inti sabah to inti nilai next semester (sept 08).. i need to know the hostel environments.. can anyone help me?
*
Hostel environment is awesome. If safety is important to you, then there is no other choice besides the hostel.Desa Palma is not safe at all. Also, when you live on campus you find yourself hanging out with friends more, which is a good thing.

u will definitely love on campus accommodation.. safe and comfortable.. i have stayed in hostel for 1.5years and i am freaking miss that place.. but recently i heard something about poor internet provider and blockage of DC++ (inti most famous p2p).. but overall i could assure u staying in hostel is a great choice.. especially when u hang around with frens during midnite.. smile.gif

Internet has certainly improved since the students complained. I notice that the internet speed has improved but I'm not sure about downloading, never tried it. Yup, INTI never sleeps. The only time you sleep is on the couch at the CC biggrin.gif

Yea, people say that Nilai is for those who want to know what Campus life really is like while Subang is for those who want the night life. In Nilai, you don't have much else other than food, 8-ball pool and your friends =)

Has anything changed / improved since the merger with Laureate?
*
so far its mostly cosmetic changes. the sao concourse got a much needed facelift and some parts of the college that were previously left abandoned are now being renovated, like the path near INTI Vybes' room. Education wise, nothing much thus far other than a few American students now studying here. and more foreign lecturers too.

Hi just wanted to know, is Desa Palma apartment good for renting? Are there lots of students renting too or the place is not so student-friendly? Looks like there are many blocks, which one is nearest to INTI? And normally what is the rental like, mostly that I found is about RM900 for a basic unit.

Thanks! smile.gif
*
Desa Palma is better than INTI hostel because you get streamyx internet and easier to bring girls/boys back to your place wink.gif

The downside is that security is a bit average. As long as you dont leave your front door unlocked, should be fine though.

Block A - above the shoplots.

Block B and C - nearest to INTI Academic Block but also the most expensive. Empty apartment around 800-1100.

Block D,E,F - Further back. Have to walk a bit more. Cheaper - empty apartment for rent around 600-700.

There is one thing i would like to ask but i dont know where is the right place.

My alevels is about to finish and im planning to move on to my next plan which is to study either business law or business management.

The problem is im planning to apply for ptptn, and the information which is given in the website is pretty much very basic informations.
The question is, lets say my course fees is rm63000. Will ptptn cover all or just part of it?
*
It depends on your family income and how many siblings you have.

You could either get the whole thing covered or only a small portion. COntact PTPTN.

How did this thread turn into a thread about INTI Subang? The two posts above me are both not related to INTI Nilai.
