do you mean Nilai campus?
yes..it is safe, each block got each security guard, what you need to do is take care for your belonging in your room..
about the hygience, there will have cleaners to help you the corridor and toilets(for sharing toilet)..but sometime dirty are caused by students themselves.
about the distance, the most far hostel away from academic block is about 800m ..everyone is walking to class smile.gif

I am wondering should I rent the room which have bathroom...
ans : is totally up to you..go ahead if you have affordable.

800m?oh no...it is quite far leh= =
yes,I'm talking about nilai campus lah(this thread is specially for INTI at the nilai one, isn't it?lol)

there is no shuttle bus or something?
the food at the canteen is NO PORK(I heard it from the counselor of INTI =S)and is it tasty(at least is it acceptable?)?

ok,serious question.
i got my dorm. room number today, but unfortunately,
i got a twin sharing room without toilet(oh no,it is really inconvenience for me)since the twin sharing room with toilet is full.
NOW,that person told me I am in the D1-XX(it is unwise to reveal my room number in internet= =).
so what is the disadvantages since my room at the ground floor?
and may i knw that is there hot(i mean is there faced to the sun or something like that?)

Whoa I never expect INTI IU to have a thread of their own here, in fact I am an INTI student who left in mid December last year so allow me to give a few words of my own to help sort out some of the confusions.
800M is not far at all. To be exact, it's ten minutes walk from Block A-C till the Academic Block, if you take the bridge it would be another five minutes.  Just make sure that you didn't forget to bring any stuffs that you should have brought. Coz, you won't like the feeling of running all the way back to your accommodation and then back again.

Food wise, yes, it's a halal campus, even the char siew is made from chicken (which has a weird sensation if you are used to the REAL char siew).  What I suggest is if you got the time, why not go outside and eat.  Again, it's just a ten minutes walk to a row of shops with about 3-5 outlets for eating.
There are quite a number of them, but not many enough to deploy a platoon of terrorist so NO FEAR. If you're not the absolute hottie and sexy girl kind, they won't bother/disturb you.  If you are scared of them (I dunno why you should tho), get a few friends to walk with you to and back from class.  They have their own social circle with their own kind.  Again, if you stay yourself away from them, they won't disturb you.
They said... I wonder what your sources are srsly.  blink.gif
Smoking, yes, if you're a guy staying in area Block N onwards. It SHOULD BE a smoke free campus, but then, to them, rules are meant to be broken.
Ground floor, I had the same experience as you.  The thing you need to bear is the occassion passing by of students, the foot steps, or worse case, those that walk in group chatting as they walk along.

Another thing is fogging, INTI does fogging from time to time and ground floor (and 1st floor I think) ALWAYS KENA.  Be prepared to have the corridor full of white fume and it takes nearly an hour for the fog to dissipate.
Hope that clears off a bit of confusion you are having there.  I know how it feels going to a place that you have not been before to study. smile.gif

i am concerned about is my room hot(i mean kena sunlight or something)= =

I'm just pointing out those that happened to me when I stayed in ground floor.

We won't know whether your room will be hot or not since you did not tell us the number of your room.  If I'm not wrong the odd numbers are on the right of the corridor, the even ones are on the left.

You don't need to be over concerned one la, take it easy.  If there's any problem you can just contact Accommodation Office and they'll do it for you. tongue.gif
