I have no comment on the programme just something in case your not aware of it, 3 year Engineering Degree programmes are not recognized by BEM as the washington accord requires 4 year programmes.
so my comment, go look for a 4 year Degree that's recognized by BEM rather than a 3 year Degree that's not just in case you want to become a Professional Engineer in the future. If your not interested in becoming a professional engineer than go ahead just in my opinion it's better safe than sorry.

sorry。。i dun agree v u..cause 3 years can b a professional engineering too..BEM is not important at all if u plan to go private company..
if u think 4 years is more pro enuff..den u go for master after u took 3+0, the period is almost the same n u get master..

4years n 3years angineering actually wat we learn is same thing..3 years the subs u taking is very pack compare to 4 years..

For sure u will find no doubt on ur assignment cause ur classmate is jus few step away from u..

well I never said anything about the subjects that you learn or that 4 a year degree is better than a 3 year degree or anything like that.I just said that in the eyes of Professional Boards like BEM they don't recognize 3 year degrees that's all unless you got that degree a long time ago before they decided they only want 4 year degrees.

like I said it depends on you. Unless you have a BEM recognized degree,or have a recognized Msc with that degree of yours or passed some kind of test from BEM etc. to be a professional engineer here in Malaysia it's against the law for you to perform professional engineer duties, use any title etc. that might imply you are or describe yourself as a professional engineer etc. among other stuff and these laws apply even if you work in the private sector. You can still perform other Engineering duties though.

Well being a professional engineer is not really that significantly important in other branches of Engineering other than Civil but still in my opinion better safe than sorry and I just posted it to inform you people. You won't believe how many people write to papers etc. crying foul when they find out their 3 years degrees are not recognized by BEM after they graduated, when in the first place they blindly enrolled in the programme without checking and they blame the college counselors for not informing them when they face certain difficulties when they started working when even though you could still blame the counselors those people themselves are also to be blamed themselves. If your sure on what you want to do then go ahead. If your not, better be safe now or any amount of regret and complaining later won't fix anything.

ya..i got u mean..for my opinion i will take 3+0 n apply for the test if i wan to get my cert recognized by BEM..save 1 year..1 year u can gain extra 1 year working experience n u can spend tat 1 year for Master too..not a good idea?
i also jus gav my opinion..bcuz a lot of them will misunderstand tat 3 years will learn lesser than 4 years..

Currently a form 5 student.
Not sure if actuarial science is the right course for me.Should i opt for a-levels or computer science prior to the said course and if so how do i go from there.
From my understanding, transfering will require credit hours ,how do i get that during a levels?
Any co-op programmes offered? It is offered in HELP uni tho.Do point out the pros & cons.
I do hope you are able to influence me into INTI. xD
Inbox me if possible.

Cheers!

dear teddy:
in the mines i think there is a ktm station which can link to the subang jaya ktm station. due to i am not in inti subang so i am not sure what time their bus will got to that station there. but pls bear in mind that the ktm in malaysia is not as accurate as overseas train service. so i think all you need to do is go and check with them see whether they have a bus to the statioin there and wat is the time.

i only can tell you more once you give me the details.
regards.

AUP is great as long as you're certain that US is where you wanna go. I can give no comments about INTI penang, though. And AUP is hardly a pre-U course. Techinically, you'd be under degree. Well, transfer degree. Any questions, feel free to pm me.
