i came across this seller too, indeed the pricing is very tempting. anyone knows how he can give such price, where the set from, is it warranty by the respective local distributor? most important is it is safe cos this seller is fr Johor?
i was thinking to get something from him too after this PC fair if the fair doesn't have anything interesting to offer.

I heard the owner is Siew Kah How, previous worker of directphoto and now he's on his own. Pretty good serivce I think.

i saw his advert on 40d match the one in LYN garage sale. perhaps he is the one.

if he can provide cod in klang valley that will be nice. no cod still have some doubt about it + comes to warranty will be headache if you need to send it back to him.

well. what my father did was went straight to the office at damansara intan and brought back the camera (fujifilm s8000) not entirely sure how he did. COD on the spot? i'll ask him again.

I also bought my F31fd from this guy about 1 year ago through eBay. It's a Japan unit. Not sure about warranty support because my unit still functioning well.

i used to buy my canon g9 with him..received in a week..for me nice and helpful seller..if i am not mistaken, the shop located at old klang road..i bought my cam through online..some of common model, you might received it less than 2-3 days..other 'hard to find' or 'hot' model, might need to wait a bit longer..overall i satisfied with their service

I just got my D90 from Miyamondo directly from their shop at Uptown Damansara. It is located at the second level, not difficult to spot it as the shop name is well displayed.

The unit i got is from Japan (waranty card shows: only applicable in Japan), which means in another way it is a "Grey" set, where waranty only be bound by Miyamondo in Malaysia. I guess that is why the goods sold are cheaper compare to the rest.

Thanks for the input bro. I figured as much regarding their warranty. So it means you can't sent your D90 to Nikon Malaysia to be serviced/repaired within the warranty period? Or will they also service/repair it but you have to pay?

i never bought from them, but made some enquiries before. i think they should be ok based on lelong profile feedbacks.
there is a reason why their prices are so low, ask them about warranty i believe for some of the low priced models, warranty is not by local but by them.
any issues send back to them.

anyway, ask them, make your judgement and buy if you want

Yes, the waranty works for one year too. I guess Nikon Malaysia should have no issue to service for you as long as you pay for it (since that the waranty is not granted by Nikon Malaysia) but again i don't think you will like to pay for the charge since that it is still under waranty (the only different is the waranty only valid in country out of Malaysia, either Japan, Hongkong or Singapore). I never noticed about the warranty until i got it home, so it is quite a careless action that i did. Anyway, just hope that my camera is working well for the rest of the year seeing that Miyamondo got a 100% +ve feedback in ebay....wish me luck
