I'm getting Griffin's for iPhone. According to my research, my model should work with iPhone. Getting it in two weeks.

My experience with ipod nano and belkin fm transmitter doesn't impress me with the voice quality. Lots of interference around KL and frequency need to adjust frequently, or maybe it's just my car antenna locate at rear roof causing unnecessary overlapping?

I give up fm transmitter base on that experience and purchased griffin aux cable for my iphone to car head unit. Works great and voice quality.. highly recommended smile.gif

FM Transmitter quality will always be inferior to using aux cable. but not all cars have AUX IN for their audio system, especially older cars unless purposely change the CD player to get one which has the AUX IN / USB support.

Yah, agree. Haven't been seeing older car (wira 1993) that doesnt have aux. Just press the head unit button few times (some by pressing Source button), if you spot the display show changed CD to FM, or FM to AUX... *bingo*. Your head unit support Aux. You just have to get the accessories shop to re-wire the Aux (usually behind the head unit) to front and re-do the connector so it accept 3.5mm female-jack.

Just my 2 cent..

Using my iTrip with the Iphone... No problem, it will suggest that you go into Airplane mode, but you can select No.

Once your phone rings, it will inactive the Ipod function and your ringtone will start playing over the radio speakers, once you answer the call.. it will stop the FM transmission and use it as normal.

Call ends, and the ipod function activates automatically again.

But as always, sound quality is at a low.

fm transmitter isnt the best quality but the easiest solution. if you got money.. get integrator or cheaper will be aux in. but sadly not all integrator is for iphone...
