For those of u guys heading towards Sri Petaling from Kuchai Lama, there'll be JPJ roadblocks targeting those cars with HID, heavily tinted, loud mufflers, nicely done up bodykits where they usually suspect that engine have been changed as well.
So for u guys who always uses the road, if possible try taking other alternative routes to avoid these blocks. I'm just sharing these info with u guys as i'm staying around that area & uses the route daily.

QUOTE(zweimmk @ Jul 18 2008, 11:17 AM) I drove my g/f's City 2 days ago along Sungei Besi Highway. Straight away JPJ officer stop me because of the lights (HID installed). Gave me a ticket and told me to come back in 2 weeks after I reinstalled normal Halogens. So should I just ignore them? U can't just ignore them buddy. I believed that JPJ issued u an inspection letter for u to send your gf's City for Puspakom inspection regarding the HID lighting & overall of the car. Changed back to halogen bulbs & make sure the car is not "darkly" tinted or with heavy bodykits then send it for inspection. Should pass it with some "friendly" discussion with JPJ officers. If u are good in talking, then u dont have to pay anything else except the RM30-40 for the inspection.
