IMO, you are still single is not a problem. The main problem is do you "unable to forget" someone who has no fate with you.
It is really difficult to "forget someone"....some people even used couples of years they are still in the trape. But try to move forward is possible. Stay confidence. No worry.

some girls (guys too), they might have crush with some guys, but because of no fate, they do not end up as couple.... the girl might still have some feeling for that guy, that's why she reluctant to move on, hoping that one day the guy will go for her....if the guy do, then it's great...but what if this is only one-sided feeling? pity that poor girl....
i'll suggest, make some cut off time for the guy/girl you admire and have feeling to......let your feeling stay for ..maybe six months, and if still no progress, better move on and don't waste time on someone that do not appreciate and love you....
