Purchase one USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 Adapter for my i5 rig. Using it without any problem except the cable are the heavy type and need to use wire to hold it down. The USB 3.0 internal card reader are actually usb 3.0 routing hub from the rear and the card reader are usb 2.0 only but who need usb 3.0 when all our card never required usb 3.0 speed. Both item are solid build. Just add one in front of your PC and it will have more than enough port for use. Recommended quality stuff.Nice chap to deal with.
