Been using it since i'm still using XP. No crashes at all. I'd love to give you the drivers, but i can't find the link anymore, giving through YM @ MSN won't do good either as the driver is 42MB. |

QUOTE(coolkwc @ Mar 30 2008, 08:56 PM) just installed the Vista and use XtremeMusic on it.... Dude, find YouP-Pax driver. The conclusion is you will waste the sound card if use under vista environment, all sound are software rendered, and i noticed the sound quality in Vista is significant different from XP, loss detail in the high frequency part...and NO DOLBY function in Vista... It's a modded driver for Creative Sound Card. The YouP-Pax driver will show the true colour of your card in Vista. By the way Lacus, how's the driver? Working fine under your Vista? For me, i feel that with YouP-Pax driver, my Audigy 2 ZS produces better sound compared to original Creative vista driver, what about you? Do you feel the same? Owh god!
The YouP-PAX-AXv4.09 is even worse than YouP-PAX-AXv3.63.03! Now look at all the work i gotta do! Sigh, have to uninstall the YouP-PAX-AXv4.09 and reinstall YouP-PAX-AXv3.63.03. And uninstalling creative soudncard driver is a real PITA. |

fariz!
If you didn't open this thread about creative stopping daniel_k making modded driver for Sound Blaster, i wouldn't know about it. All i can say about daniel_k's driver is that his driver is even better than any other modded driver i've ever used. It's even better than YouP-PAX-AXv3.63.03 driver for my Audigy 2 ZS. The treble sounds smoother, and the bass seems sweeter than the best modded driver i've ever use which is YouP-PAX-AXv3.63.03. Thanks man! And Daniel_K, you rawk! |
