Think u'll need to wait very long before u can sell it off at anything above 250k (which actually just barely break even).

I cant really recommend anyting else until I know what is your investment goals are and your risk appetite. Good luck

how does one even compare a condo and a services studio is really beyond me..........

Think anyone who went into Tropics at less than 200k can be rest assured that there would be some minimal cap gains and positive cashflow of rental, irregardless of the feng-shui situation

Some updates on Tropics :

1. Mall now more than 70% occupied by tenants and turning out nicely. GSC has started operations last month, and business looks good. Cant even see Transformers as it was fully booked from noon to midnite last saturday. Saw some expatss as well last Sat.

2. Dijaya has increased Tropics pricing several rounds now and units are moving fast(suspect GSC is big pull) . Cheapest unit now (facing Damansara Jaya, west) is going for +-280k with 8k rebate discount. Its now >95% sold out.

3. Glomac's new serviced apartment right opposite of Tropicana City is touted to be selling at starting price of RM600psf. Could be positive news for Tropics owner especially those who manage to get one at just over RM300psf.

btw, heard from someone there will be proposed new LRT interchange near Damansara Intan.

Anyone else heard the same?

just an update, as of Sunday, there's only 1 675sqf unit left for sale in Tropics, and price is 341k.

Didnt know studio's in PJ can cost so much, this is maybe due to Glomac Damansara's effect

they recently claimed that Tropics will be completed in Q3 and its now at 85% completion

half a mil will be very2 tough............but just went to Tropicana mall y'day for family dinner. Mall is really turning up nicely........

There will be quite a number of ppl who will want to stay on top of this mall, and hopefully they have big pockets

wifey thinks the outlook is nice leh, but I felt CS color schemes is better

99% sure he can provided he grab his unit within 1 year after VP.....

spoke to SA last week and apparently Dijaya will give keys in either June or july? This Tropics got CF already meh?
