Actually they should change the name since long time ago.

People always erroneously calls Resort Hotel (a hotel at Genting Highlands) as Resort World; while people (especially aunties and uncles) who bought RWB shares says that they have Genting shares.

Too much confusion might as well unify everything under a common name, for better or for worse.

How much you bought doesn't matter one, it is number of shares you have.

4 cents per share

You have 1000 shares or 0.04 x 1000 = 40.00
But it is less tax 25%

40 x 0.75 = 30.00 (Cheque sent to you will be 30.00)

But you can claim back the 10 (tax) part if you are not subjected to income tax, or portion based on your tax bracket.

You can go to any LHDN(Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri) to register tax account with them.
Usually those ppls whom has salary above RM2.5K will require to pay tax as it will fall under minimum tax bracket.
Sometime company will open tax account for you as the company have to deduct some portion money monthly for taxes biggrin.gif

True, but there is nothing we can do about that...
And count our inefficiency luck, as other countries already implemented that for years loh...
