so i've met this seller...what a nice chap. showed and advise me on alot of stuff.
Got from him 3 sheets....2x10mm and 1x6mm

1x6mm i drafted my engine hood fiber thingy and pasted this 6mm layer on it and fix it back.

half of 1sheet of 10mm i pasted alongside my firewall ( outer portion)
another 1 1/2 sheet was used on my boot and boot flooring.

first thing i noticed when i closed my boot was a thud sound. not like tin kosong.

i tested some music and its definitely better. bass much tighter.

havent drove it yet coz im letting it dry first. kinda tired.

spent roughly 4 hours doing this thing.

will update once i bring it on the road for a spin.

next project will be the doors. that is after i learn how to open it nicely and fit it back.

bro i might need more biggrin.gif

Added on November 1, 2008, 4:32 pmUPDATE!!!!

just took the car for a spin

one thing that is really obvious is that my engine sound has been greatly reduced..now i just hear a hum than the engine itself

rear bonnet cant hear absorber sound when i go above bumps...awesome stuff! my music has been improved slightly tho...bass is tighter. if i do my door i think music will be alot more better on the highs.

i will definitely get more for the door. bro u cant help me do the door stuff ah..maybe i can pay u or something?

i follow his advise on firewall portion

just unscrew the horn, some metal hose bla bla bla and put glue at that area.

i then inserted the foam and pressed it along the firewall. I covered most area except for my break pump area. Dont dare to remove it laugh.gif

im driving a waja

Added on November 2, 2008, 5:48 pmbtw i was reading some thread on the internet in regards to a type of spray that spray's foam. there are 2 types...one is for hard stuff another one is for glass.

the glass one is the one we use for door to fill in empty space between gaps. Anyone know where to get it?
