I'm interested to do on the doors. Is 6mm sufficient? 10mm too thick?

If install on the doors, will the ones w/o adhesive works as well as the ones with adhesive? Is it easier to install as well?

What is price for 2 x 6mm (4x3) with adhesive?
What is price for 2 x 6mm (4x3) without adhesive?
