Good day fellas,

Old phone gone dead, like usual, need a new 1.
Looking for something simple and small.
Don't require much on the functions.
Only needs to receive and make calls, receive and send text messages.
Price range is Rm50 - Rm100. (Exceed Rm10 or Rm20 is ok)

As I mention as title, cause my old one was something similar to that 2.

Thanks in advance for any feedbacks. I don't do much research on mobiles phones.

Nokia 1200 i think

nokia 1200 is better in design

1112 keypad is the best

1200 is newer model compared to 1112 lor... but both oso nice...

1112 is white light and 1200 is not... and function wise... both sure to serves u well with excelent battery life... price oso shud be around your mark... depends on ur design liking... if given me, i'll choose by the designs and oso by the backlight lighting...

i like the nokia 1208 design in black... but if it comes in monochrome and with white light... sure coOL! it's battery life as i see in some website can last more than a week! even nokia site stated that it can last 365hours!!

Some more, went to ask for Nokia 1112 or 1110 and the sales person told me that is not on sale anymore cause the price for this 2 has risen. LOL
He said 1200 is the most cheap phone among Nokia phones.

nokia 1200 i suggest

hmm my 1208 can last 3 days the most. maybe its due to heavy sms and also calling for like 1-2 hours everyday

ha? i expect the batt life to be great despite it's a color screen hp... btw, it's 65K... does it look good on de screen? hehe... how's ur view on de overall of the hp?

i'm using nokia 1100 torchlight hp as my office's line which serves me well... but if there's a better monochrome available... i would like to buy one... i see de nokia 1208 is nice but sayang it's not monochrome... sumore it got speakerphone which i got use of it while driving unlike the nokia 1100 which lacks of it...

1200 is better

Seems like mostly is going for 1200

Those who have 1208 or knows how the phone is like, then pls elaborate more on it.

1208 is sharing the same body as 1200... just tat one is color screen hp and the latter is monochrome... but 1208 comes wif black keypad... nicer... hehe...

how i wish 1208 come with monotone... the polyphonic tone is just too slow... cant hear the tone very well even at its max volume...

Nokia 1200 has more features compared to 1112 like torchlight, block caller etc.

Furthermore Nokia 1112 is no longer in the market (unless recon or old stock)

So go for Nokia 1200

Yup, it's true what Mitodna said. I am using V3.44 & although I can access the menu, but I have no option to choose the options there.

ha? it's a bug lor if so... neway, what about nokia 1208 as i plan to buy for a replacement of my 2nd hp... actually i wanted a monochrome for it's superb battery life...

Anyone own 1208? I think the price different is RM20-RM30 only, the 1208 keypad colour is nicer, in my opinion

ya... de color of de keypad looks more classier as it's in black... but i dono how de software is and whether can it reply those command like *118#, *126# and etc... any idea or comment on tat?

My nokia 1112 is crazy...was submerged in the water for a few minutes...still functioning now.

+ white light lcd

1200
+ better calendar
+ cost controlling
+ touch light
+ sms signature
- lousy keypad
- soft ringtone
- firmware problem

If after plus minus, not much different.

been using a N1200 that can't access the Easy Menu..sent it to Nokia to upgrade the firmware, and now everything's ok
