This is a simple mod to hide your CD/DVD Rom.

Please forgive me for poor english writting.

Casing modded : Lian Li PC-7S

1. Original bezel

2. Cut out the mounting

6. Press eject button

Drill a small hole.. but just pray your drive doesn't expire fast!
Or you could go US stores that may have some for clearance @ USD$5.

i am thinking to mod the LED to others place, cause i want to 100% hide the DVD ROM. i never study on flip-out one, may be you can take out the cover and make some bracket and join will cd tray

wat if the optical drives failed to eject automatically and i need to use needle to press through the small hole on the drives there??

flip out eh...you could disassemble the cover of the DVD rom, and it is not a flip out already

I've seen this in The Screensaver show long ago. I've done the same thing with my cm690, nice coz still can see the drive blinking laugh.gif
