Those in Seri Petaling have been mentioned /repeated so many times...So it's easier if you can named the restaurant...There are atleast 6 Dimsum houses in Sri Petaling such as:
1) Pang Ki (Vkeong fav) 2) Clan dim sum 3) Fortune Dim Sum (Used to be my weekly restaurant years ago..now dunno the quality) 4) Kam Lun Tai (Shifted from SS2) 5) World of Dim sum (no more buffet style) - But actually not bad although less crowd than others) 6) Janbo.. So which one u recommend QUOTE(darkdevilrey @ Jun 30 2009, 11:42 AM) |

Place: AXIAN DIM SUM
Location: Bandar Puteri Puchong, Near Hong Kee Dim Sum http://wikimapia.org/13139218/Axian-Dim-sum This place open by famous AEC foodie show host Ah Xian. The place is very new. I go there 9am, full house. They table is place quite near each other. Drinks order is no good, I hear 2 table next to me complain their drink never arrival. My order also salah but luckily when he write the order I was looking so I pointed out. Dimsum is usual style of order - the steam item will be brought around in tray, while for porridge, lor mai kai and pao have to porder from waiter. The tray carry by the waiter is quite small so only limited number of items. The dim sum trays came out very slow, and some area very narrow the waiter also never bring the food to us until u call them. Clearly there was too many customer/table open that the kitchen cannot come out with food fast enuf. So I sat there all I got to eat was 5 items. After that 20 mins wait also no food. Sui Jeng Kao - This one NAIS!!! ![]() Chee Cheong Fun - Very average. The prawn one cost 4.50 ![]() Porridge - A lot of Liu, but taste is a little bland. Can Order if u like liu. ![]() Har Mai - Quite nice this one. Worth ordering. ![]() Prawn Fried Thingy - pastry was a bit keras, very little mayo for dipping. AVOID IF CAN ![]() Thats all I manage to order there today. I was a little annoy cos not enuf to eat so went over to Hong Kee top up some dimsum Overall: 5/10. Food quite nice BUT The servis is a mess. Until they stabilise/lose many customer, I suggest Hong Kee instead across the road. This post has been edited by beechwood55789: Jul 6 2009, 02:59 PM |

QUOTE(vkeong @ Jul 4 2009, 11:31 AM) wtf. are they using ala carte ordering system or using push cart where customer go n take their own dim usm? customer choose when the waiter bring the tray full of dimsum to them.only problem is, the tray is small and when i waas there, only got few items. i nvr see: har kow, chicken feet, pai kuat also. |
