DOn't think so. If you want to apply through CIMB, you would need to open trading account with CIMB. rolleyes.gif

Is it? I'm under the impression if you apply for IPO from the ATM, all it needs is your CDS account. Since the shares will be deposited in your CDS account, from where you apply it doesn't matter.

I never tried CIMB eIPO before, so please let me know how the process goes.

can i open CDS at any atm? <---- if you want it to be under your name, you have to open it from any trading house, with forms to fill and RM10.

Just find some online share company, like mine, apexetrade.com , follow the prosedure and they will open both cds and trading acc for you. Rm10 for all.

CDS account that you opened with brokerage firm is normally a nominee CDS account.

If you want to buy IPO, it is advisable to get your own CDS account.
