Hey guys. I have a Japanese Xbox 360 premium set that I bought in 2006 and unfortunately, I bought a lousy transformer to go along with it. I was wondering.. Would the Japanese 360 work if I swap the Japanese 360 power brick for an Asian one? Thanks in advance for any answers.

Getting Started

erm,i guess it'll work.. because all xbox 360 should work on the same 175/200w 12v.. the difference is only the power brick..in US they operate on 110v, in Uk 240v, and Japan 100v..just change the power brick to suit the input voltage where ever u are.. but again..i think soo..

japanese 360 required transformer to play in malaysia....the asia 360 no need any transformer....plug direct....that is why i think if japanese 360 swap the power brick with asia will harm the 360 cause diffrence voltage !

If you are using a japanese xbox 360 using an asia power brick (220v) it will confirm work on your console. but if you want to use back your japanese power brick (110v) you confirm need a stepdown converter.

I test before , using asia power brick on Japaneses and us console. no problem funny, I thought aegis will come in and explain all the stuff again by the way, you can find power brick but not from official Microsoft, mostly are third party products.
