Added on April 27, 2009, 4:37 pm QUOTE(nick_myself @ Apr 27 2009, 04:14 PM) I've eaten there before. Nice peaceful environment. Easy to find parking as it is not in SS15 or Taipan USJ. That time my friends and I had the sort of balcony portion all to ourselves. My friend "kam cheng" with the boss he let us bring our own liquor without paying corkage. a friend of mine purposely go there to admier the handsome german chef This post has been edited by kimmie: Apr 27 2009, 04:37 PM |

QUOTE(nick_myself @ Apr 29 2009, 01:37 PM) ic, must try it out one day. The owner of country barn is from my church, haha... ahhh really? from which church u attend? There's this Nasi Lemak USJ in USJ14; which I found out that at the other corner is the beer garden. The sambal there is pretty good; the fried chicken is not bad, but could have been better as it was slightly overcooked. Added on April 29, 2009, 2:56 pm QUOTE(b3rnard7 @ Apr 29 2009, 01:45 PM) daorae still the best!one of the oldest restaurant in sj would be the nothern indian opposite of sj medical centre This post has been edited by kimmie: Apr 29 2009, 02:56 PM |

Added on May 18, 2009, 10:04 am QUOTE(nujikabane @ May 11 2009, 12:05 AM) May i suggest you two eateries that you may like ? that chinese restuarant is it the corner one opposite of the mosque? that is good too but i dont like the oilness; classic way of chinese cookingThere's one restaurant in Taipan called Restoren Ubi Kayu. It sells Malay delicacies and it's pretty full, especially during weekdays lunch hours. Do not worry because the service is pretty good (and fast, I might add) and the food's delicious too. And the other one is called Restoren Jazeera (it has nothing to do with the international news broadcast, though), also in Taipan. It sells halal China cuisines, most of it is not available here in Malaysia, because it offers cuisine from many parts of China, such as SiChuan (the owner told me that it is spicy, so to those who like spicy food, try it) and other parts of China. My favorite is the beef skewers (it sells for RM3 / stick) . This post has been edited by kimmie: May 18 2009, 10:04 AM |
