Seems like the zip file corrupted or something. Can't extract it.

Where got virus with zip file format (inside zip file maybe). Its maybe got corrupted while zipping or attaching.

You can upload these through ftp/ssh as well.

Go to the base directory -> System -> Library -> Carrier Bundles

Upload the folders that have your carrier logo (one with number and one labelled with names)

Restart your phone

Works for me too.

However, when I'm at the springboard level...the maxis logo displayed is greyscale...when I'm at the application level...the logo shows in green as it should be.

How to fix this please?

Yes, you need to revert back to the original then restart your phone.

when i unzip the downloaded file, it got 2 files that is macOSx and network bundle.. from which folder u copy 50219 and mycelcom folder?

You can't change MYMAXIS to MAXIS.....won't work

Download the file. Extract the zip. Open the PNG images.

seems like all the zip files is broken when i want to open it, i though it can be seen when it put into iphone, i mean you will see it on iphone, not computer....


p/s: is my pc problem or the zip file problem..?

just needs to extract that zip file,
after that you can view it, just that simple

Since we're into plist editing and stuff .. I've included carrier.plist for maxis, digi, celcom ... which i created for when FW 113/114 first came out , now for all to enjoy.

These plists should even localise your iPhone further by adding specific buttons in the phone settings page, default APN settings, etc etc....

Please use them in conjunction with the PNG files as attached in the very first post here, but replace those carrier.plist with these ones.

Mmmmm ... is the APN for maxis is net or unet? I've tried it with unet but can't connect but when i change it to net then i can connect.

This is just to clarify.

"net" if you're not a 3G subscriber ... "unet" if you're a 3G subscriber and got a 3G SIM card.

If unsure, try "unet" first .. coz only the really-really old subs who never update their SIM cards and never revise their call plans are still on "net" ... i think!

Oooo is dat so. Thanx for the info. Never care about EDGE/GPRS or 3G before. Just experimenting with EDGE/GPRS as my company gonna change the mobile plan to unlimited broadband/HSDPA package. ok.. noob question here.. how does one hide icons in their iphone? can be done on 1.1.4? from SEP910's SS, did he hide it or he's just in the re-arranging icon setting? sry for asking such a noob question.. just got my iphone 3 days ago

I rearrange the icon to the second pages, look at her boob there got 7 white dot. At 1st pages put 1 transparent icon.
And balance the icon transfer to others pages.

LOL... Look what I did:

Added on April 5, 2008, 5:35 pmim currently using 'poof' and it seemed to be hiding the icons and making it uneasy to access apps easily.. i know i'm a bit fussy with this coz the icons are blocking Megan Fox from staring at me oh.. and is it possible to hide/rid off the icons on the dock?

back to topic.. do i install filefinder from iclarified in 'installer' to locate and use the telco carrier logo?

if the local Telcos local background colour have the EXACT same grey colour as the default colour, it would be even better.

I tried to make the background transparent but didn't look nice coz if maxis the font is dark. So if on the black bar ... it look dark. On the grey bar its ok.

I am in the phone's directory, however there's no folder with the name 50216 (I'm a digi user).

What is showing now is 20801,02,03,22201,23203,31070,31050 and etc...

May i know which folder i should put it in?

Owh forgot to update on this thread. I've already modified the maxis logo it looks good (atleast for me). Right now using digi on the phone so i've made a custom one just nice to use. Can't post now coz outstation and now only use phone to surf.

guys...i copied the 50212 and MYMAXIS.bundle to System/Library/Carrier Bundles using mobilefinder. but after i restart, nothing happens..stil the mymaxis wording

anybody knows wat i did wrong here? im on 1.1.4 btw...

the 50212 folder must be a symlink (symbolic link). Its not a folder. To do symlink u must use terminal.app or PuTTY in WinSCP.

the command:

ln -s MYMAXIS.bundle 50212

u shud copy the 50212 folder only, the others just ignore
after that restart phone, shall be workin'
