I being con before at ebay. Even with some seller that say going to meet for COD. Lost around RM250+ last time.

In this Shazrin case, I was lucky actually. I keep monitoring his activity at ebay for about 2 weeks. His feedback also look promising. I bid his item but bid only the lowest phone he sell on 24th Mac. At 12:32am I received an email with invoice. On the same day, he send another mail asking me to pay around 11:40am. That make me wonder. He said only doing business at night and he's a teacher so how he manage to send email around that time. I reply to him but he never reply me back.

I also can see he no longer relist his item after that. He also ended some listing before the actual end time. So I think better wait to see people feedback first.

For me it's a little weird to see a seller that can sell 2nd phone more 10 unit at the same times, more than 2 phone for same model. He a teacher, so I keep wondering where he got all the stocks.

how the hell did he get so many positive feedback
*
From the seller not from buyer.

One thing I notice is, he bought and sell everything in one months. He got all 48 feedback in March.

You can try to open the dispute console but for me, it's a waste of time.

After 90 days, if seller don't respond to dispute (which won't be happening in Malaysia), dispute will be closed and nothing will happen.

Received on Jan 27 from ebay.

eBay Standard Purchase Protection Programme

eBay's Standard Purchase Protection Programme reimburses buyers for eligible transactions when:

    *      An item was not received.
    *      An item was received but significantly not as described.

You'll be reimbursed up to a maximum of RM 750.00 (less RM 95.00 to cover processing costs).

For example:

    *      If the item price is RM 825, you're eligible to receive RM 655.
    *      If the item price is RM 165, you're eligible to receive RM 70.
    *      If the item price is RM 96, you're eligible to receive RM 1.

The maximum reimbursement for any claim is RM 655.00.
Eligible transactions

    *      The final price of the item is over RM 95.00. Multiple listings cannot be combined into one claim to become eligible, even if purchased from the same seller.
    *      You are a winning bidder or fixed price buyer of an item listed on the eBay site.
    *      Both you and the seller had a feedback rating of zero or above at the close of the listing.
    *      Your item is legal and in accordance with eBay's Listing Policies and User Agreement.
    *      Payment was sent to the seller in good faith and proof of payment can be documented.
    *      You have not exceeded the three claims per six-month limit.
    *      If you paid with a credit card (either directly to the seller or through an online payment service other than PayPal), you must have already contacted your credit card issuer and sought reimbursement from the issuer prior to filing a claim.

Non-eligible transactions

    *      Items which are not significantly different from the item description.
    *      Items paid for with cash or instant money transfer services such as Western Union or MoneyGram.
    *      BidPay: Please contact your credit card provider to file a chargeback.

You all must report separately but make sure all details about this scumbag must be the same.

My suggestion is, to get all victim full name, ic no and contact number. When you create a report, everybody must mention to the inspector the list of current victim. You may ask them to check for another report that already logged. That will make the police to open their eyes and that to prove that you're not doing some false report. Also will make them to act fast.

I still remember when 1 of seller at lelong tell story about police show-up in hospital after he involved in accident. Police told him there about more than 20 report about him CON people logged. That prove that our police actually taking action when more people involved.

What are talking about? This thread started 27th March this year not LAST YEAR. Even if the PI can sell the information, the question HOW much? If you get con for RM200, would you buy the information for RM500? Unless if all agreed to share the fund.

Hello,

I have been assigned as the Adjuster for your Purchase Protection Claim
regarding item number 220214904428. Your claim has been assigned Claim
Number 1670145.

In order to complete your claim submission, additional documentation is
required. The required documentation described below must be received
before we can begin processing your claim.

1) Proof of Payment

If payment was made using a check or money order, please send a copy of
the cashed payment. You can contact your bank or the establishment the
money order was purchased through if needed to request a copy of the
front and back of the cashed check or money order.

If payment was sent via an online Payment Service such as PayPal, you
can simply print out and submit a copy of the online records for the
payment. Please note that we are not able to approve additional
coverage through eBay if a claim has already been paid by PayPal. For
transactions that were paid using PayPal, along with the required proof
of payment, you must include documentation showing that you were denied
coverage by PayPal.

Deposit receipts, credit card or bank statements, or other bank
documentation or records relating to the payment may also be acceptable.

If you paid with a credit card (either directly or through an online
payment service other than PayPal), proof of denial of reimbursement
through the credit card company is also required. This will typically be
in the form of a letter from your credit card issuer.

2) Appraisal of the Received Item

(Note: An appraisal is not required if the merchandise has already been
returned to the seller or if no merchandise was ever received)

The Appraisal must be based on an independent authenticator's physical
inspection. Please take the item and a copy of the item listing to a
store or neutral third party that specializes in the product and have
them determine the value and condition of the item. Have them write
their response on store letterhead. We will also need the name and phone
number of the person who does the evaluation for verification purposes.

Please fax the required documentation to us within the next 14 days.

Malaysia Fax number 60-3-2178-4996

the required documentation.

Please do not forward the documentation as an email attachment. Due to
security limitations we are not able to open or receive email
attachments.

Upon receipt of the required documentation within the requested time
frame, we will begin processing of your claim. Please be aware that we
must receive this documentation within the next 14 days. If the
necessary documentation is not received by the eBay Claims
Administration by Friday, May 30, 2008, we will be forced to close this
