*
1. engine oil n oil filter is a must for myvi every 5k km! perhaps u can do engine flush if ur engine is really dirty, myvi can determine thru the engine oil inlet hole
2. u r driving manual or auto?! for manual i tink u can only refer to ur service booklet, ATF u can determine the quality by the dipstick
3. brake fluid is depend on the color, the original color of the brake fluid is gold, perodua using DOT3, not DOT4!
4. spark plug change depend on condition also, but pls make diff between mvyi s.plug, old batch of myvi using BKR6EY-11 new batch of myvi using DCPR7EA-9... old batch means b4 dec '06, new batch means after dec '06, but if u guys r asking the actual date, sry, i 4got...
5. feel urself wen u r driving on straight n gd condition road
6. check the thickness urself from outside, gd things is myvi brake pad wear & tear outside is faster den inside... if ned to replace brake pad, service ur rear drum brake also
7. inspect the quality by urself, if too dirty den no choice lo

additional
8. batt water n condition?! is ur car hard to start?! since ur car adi 1yr n 7mth

QUOTE(GoldenHawk @ Mar 28 2008, 09:57 AM)
additional:

*
myvi 1.3 is running on timing chain, only outer belt ned to b inspect, normally 1yr n 7mth/45k km stil ok...

juz my suggestion, correct me if im wrong, im juz a beginner...

IMHO, no need to replace timing belt, just inspection blush.gif

is it expensive to replace petrol filter,Flush engine & clean throttle body?

my car still good and no problem to start engine. coz only drive car to work only. seldom drive for long distance.

fuel filter@45k km dun ned to replace... it's stil fine...
flush engine is a simple job, jstz pour in engine flush n let the engine run idle for 15 min (diff brand diff time)
clean throttle body is up 2 u i can say, myvi throttle body wil appear after u remove the air filter... myvi that more then 100k km that service everytime in perodua SC nvr done any throttle body cleaning also, so is up 2 u, remove the air filter, if u feel it's dirty, den clean it!

u r welcome...

usually there is no need to clean ur throttle body at 40K km... but if u want to clean it just buy some kind of trotle body cleaner (spray) easily done

u driving A/T or M/T?! or the workshop/SC adi replace for u but u dunno?! i guess u r driving M/T car as 90k km's vehicle adi change a few times for brake pad no matter hw gd/bad is ur driving style... anyway, u can juz check urself, n determine urself whether ned to replace or not...
bare in mind braking come 1st den performance, even hw gd is the car performance, without gd braking, u r gone...

Please read my feedback properly. I stated timing belt check...

Anyway, the 3 procedures stated above shouldn't be more than RM50 at a local mechanic. You can even get the flushing oil at Shell for about RM30.
Note: Please don't let the mechanic use the flushing oil concentrate (500ml bottle) to flush your engine. Do it properly by getting the 4L bottle & flushing your engine according to the instructions smile.gif
